Ashfield District Council have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Adviser to join the team based in Kirkby-In-Ashfield - Council Offices. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis (37 hours per week) and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £28,598 - £33,699 per annum (pay award pending).
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Adviser to play a key role in delivering a high-quality payroll service across Mansfield and Ashfield District Councils. In this role, you will ensure employees are paid accurately and on time, while maintaining compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and organisational policies. You will provide expert payroll advice and guidance, resolve complex payroll queries, and contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll systems, processes and service delivery.
The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 Payroll qualification, or a Level 2 qualification with substantial payroll experience, and will possess strong numerical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
