Ashfield Council have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Lettings Officer to join the team based in Kirkby-In-Ashfield. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £35,412 - £38,220 per annum (pay award pending).

We are looking for a passionate and motivated person to join us in a new post of Senior Lettings Officer. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all vacant Council homes are let efficiently, in accordance with the Lettings Policy and relevant legislation and guidance.

You will provide oversight and supervision to a small team of Lettings Officers, ensuring the team provide a high-quality customer service. You will take an active role in advising officers on complex and high-profile cases, supporting them to deal with issues that are a barrier or obstacle to performance.

You will have experience of lettings, ideally in a social housing environment and a knowledge of wider housing and tenancy management would be advantageous. Most importantly, you must be enthusiastic and driven to succeed.
