You will join us on a full time, permanent basis (37 hours per week) and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £29,541 - £32,045 per annum. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Housing Options Team as an Assertive Outreach Officer, working proactively with households who are homeless or facing urgent housing need. The role focuses on identifying support needs, tackling barriers to housing, and helping individuals and families successfully move on into settled accommodation. You will take a person-centred and empowering approach, building trust with service users and supporting them to take an active role in improving their circumstances. As part of this role, you will carry out detailed needs assessments and develop tailored action plans in partnership with service users and a wide range of agencies, including social care, health services, and voluntary sector organisations.
