Ashfield District Council have an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join the team based in Kirkby-In-Ashfield. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis (37 hours per week) and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £40,444 - £43,149 per annum + £4,370.75 Market supplement reviewed annually.
Working within both the Major Works & Assets teams you will provide a comprehensive Quantity Surveying service for the Council, comprising the procurement and financial management of construction and building related projects undertaken by the Section. This includes:
- The preparation of contract documents
- Options appraisals
- Cost estimates
- Budget monitoring and forecasting
- Final accounts necessary to progress construction and building related projects from feasibility to completion
