Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for providing a customer focused, high-quality advice and assessment service for people who are threatened with homelessness or are experiencing homelessness.
- There will be a specific focus on improving access to the private rented sector for those in urgent housing need.
- You will develop effective partnership working with local landlords and work to help overcome barriers faced by those trying to access this sector.
Requirements
- To meet the requirements of this role, you must be able to interpret complex legislation and guidance.
- Contribute positively to the development of new working practices and initiatives that help to prevent homelessness, increase the take-up of housing options and minimise the use and cost of temporary accommodation.
