Overview
Require to support the operations of Environmental Services, helping the Council to deliver its purpose of creating a clean, safe and accessible environment.
Responsibilities
As a skilled operative within Environmental Services you will be required to work flexibly dependent on the day-to-day needs of each service. Taking responsibility for guidance and direction of the driver and non-driver operatives within the team.
Qualifications and experience
- Candidates must have a clear understanding of what matters to local residents in terms of environment quality and be able to demonstrate a commitment to the delivery of excellent service for all customers and service users.
- Experience in environmental services and possession of NVQ or City and Guilds Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant subject are essential.
- An HGV Licence is desirable.
