Location: Hemel Hempstead (Hybrid, Full-Time)
Reporting To: Chief Operating Officer
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the finance team and overseeing all finance functions, including payroll.
- Designing and preparing monthly management accounts, MI, and KPIs.
- Compiling annual budgeting and managing monthly variance reporting.
- Maintaining and developing financial forecasting models.
- Managing treasury and cash flow reporting.
- Overseeing sales and stock flow forecasting models.
- Coordinating the year-end audit process and liaising with external auditors.
- Controlling the annual stock take and ensuring accurate reporting.
- Conducting weekly and monthly sales analysis and reporting.
- Handling statutory reporting and other ad-hoc financial projects.
Ideal Candidate:
- An experienced Financial Controller aiming to develop into a Finance Director role.
- Proficient in advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables.
- A strong communicator with the gravitas to work effectively with non-finance staff, senior management, and the Board.
- Familiar with Microsoft Business Central and financial modelling software such as Power BI.
