Ashe is a market leader in world-class slitting and rewinding machinery, with a strong reputation for excellence and innovation. Based in Ipswich, Suffolk, we are looking to recruit a skilled Service/Installation Engineer to join their busy International Machine Support Department.

The Role:

  • Installing, servicing, and supporting production machinery worldwide
  • Carrying out mechanical engineering tasks, servicing, and repairs
  • Working with PLCs, AC drive controls, and machine controls
  • Travelling internationally regularly while also being factory-based when not on site

The Candidate:

  • Proven experience in production machine service/installation
  • Electro-mechanical engineering background
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, AC drive controls, and machine controls
  • Experience within the Converting Industry (advantageous but not essential)
  • Based locally in Ipswich or nearby, with the ability to be factory-based when not travelling
  • Willing to travel worldwide
