Ashe is market leader in world-class slitting and rewinding machinery, with a strong reputation for excellence and innovation. Based in Ipswich, Suffolk, we are looking to recruit a skilled Service/Installation Engineer to join their busy International Machine Support Department.
The Role:
- Installing, servicing, and supporting production machinery worldwide
- Carrying out mechanical engineering tasks, servicing, and repairs
- Working with PLCs, AC drive controls, and machine controls
- Travelling internationally regularly while also being factory-based when not on site
The Candidate:
- Proven experience in production machine service/installation
- Electro-mechanical engineering background
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, AC drive controls, and machine controls
- Experience within the Converting Industry (advantageous but not essential)
- Based locally in Ipswich or nearby, with the ability to be factory-based when not travelling - Must be within 12 miles
- Willing to travel worldwide
