About the Role
We are looking for caring, motivated Support Workers to join our established team supporting people with learning disabilities.This is a rewarding role where you will support people to live full, meaningful lives, develop independence, and achieve personal goals. Who You Will Support
You will be supporting:
- 6 adults with learning disabilities
- People who require personal care and emotional support
- Individuals who may display occasional behaviours of distress
- People who need support with daily living skills and developing independence
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred support in line with individual support plans
- Support with personal care, daily living tasks, and community activities
- Promote independence, choice, and dignity
- Use Positive Behaviour Support approaches
- Encourage skill development and meaningful activities
- Work as part of a team to maintain safe, high-quality support
About You (Ideal Candidate)
We are looking for someone who is:
- Positive, reliable, and enthusiastic
- Passionate about improving quality of life for others
- Comfortable supporting people with behaviours of distress
- Knowledgeable (or willing to learn) about Positive Behaviour Support
- Proactive in planning activities and opportunities
- Open to learning and professional development
Experience in care is helpful but not essential- the right values and attitude are most important.
