Combining commercial, leisure, creative and community use, it plays a key role in the ongoing transformation of Digbeth into a vibrant urban district. The estate requires strong leadership to balance operational excellence, occupier engagement, and asset performance.
Role Purpose
The Marketing & Occupier Liaison Coordinator supports occupier engagement, customer experience, estate communications, marketing activity, and community engagement across the Digbeth Estate.
Working closely with the Asset Performance Manager and wider stakeholders, the role coordinates occupier engagement programmes, communications, events, and marketing initiatives that enhance occupier satisfaction, strengthen relationships, and support asset performance objectives.
The role acts as a key ambassador for the estate, promoting a vibrant, connected, and commercially successful destination while supporting occupier retention and community engagement.
Occupier Engagement & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with occupiers across the estate.
- Act as a key point of contact for occupier engagement and day-to-day enquiries.
- Coordinate occupier forums, networking events, and engagement initiatives.
- Support occupier onboarding and induction processes.
- Support occupier retention through regular engagement and communication.
- Identify occupier feedback and escalate insights to the Asset Performance Manager.
Marketing & Communications
- Support delivery of the estate marketing and communications strategy.
- Coordinate newsletters, estate updates, and occupier communications.
- Maintain communication databases and distribution lists.
- Support creation of marketing content including digital, print, and social media.
- Work with external suppliers on marketing materials and campaigns.
Events & Estate Activation
- Support planning and delivery of occupier events, campaigns, and activations.
- Coordinate logistics with occupiers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Assist with event communications, bookings, and materials.
- Ensure events are delivered safely in collaboration with the Facilities team.
Customer Experience & Community Engagement
- Support initiatives that enhance occupier and visitor experience.
- Build relationships with local organisations and community partners.
- Assist with placemaking and estate activation initiatives.
- Support feedback collection and occupier satisfaction surveys.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Maintain occupier engagement records, communications plans, and databases.
- Support budgeting, purchase orders, and invoice processing for marketing activity.
- Assist with reporting on engagement, events, and marketing performance.
Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with occupiers, consultants, local authorities, and community partners.
- Support estate representation at meetings and events.
- Help maintain positive relationships across all stakeholders.
Person Specification
- Experience in marketing, communications, events, customer service, or stakeholder engagement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational and coordination ability.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and digital platforms.
Qualifications (Desirable)
- Marketing, Communications, Events, Business, or Customer Experience qualification.
- CIM qualification or marketing certification.
- Experience with CRM systems and social media tools.
- Experience in commercial property, mixed-use estates, or placemaking environments.
