The predicted salary is between 24000 - 30000 £ per year.

We are looking to recruit a skilled Maintenance Painter/Decorator whose key focus will be on decorating work but the role may also include general maintenance, carpentry, service and repair work across all areas of the Hotel. The role is varied and due to the size and nature of the hotel will require someone with a good level of physical fitness. Opportunities are available for 24 or 35 hours per week, please indicate your preference on application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ably assist and support the Head of Maintenance/Deputy Head of Maintenance in order to keep up with the maintenance schedule and other tasks required of the department.
  • To have a hands-on approach to all maintenance duties and requests in the Hotel and wider estate with a positive attitude to guests and colleagues.
  • To operate within Health & Safety guidelines at all times.

Key Attributes:

  • Experienced in a range of trade skills and general maintenance, including painting, decorating and renovation work.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Have a logical approach to tasks and take pride in workmanship.
  • Able to multitask and work to agreed timescales with the flexibility to accept occasional changes in priorities.
  • Personable and able to work as part of a small dedicated team.
  • Naturally customer focused – working with both internal and external customers.
