The predicted salary is between 12 - 16 £ per hour.
The primary focus of the role will be ensuring the smooth running of the cocktail bar; ensuring all stock is up-to-date, the area is well presented and ensuring guests receive a high standard of service. You will also provide support to the wider Food and Beverage Team, covering service in the Lounges and Restaurants as required. You will work with the F&B Managers in developing seasonal cocktails and bar promotions.
Key Responsibilities
- To maintain the highest possible standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation of the bar and adjoining areas.
- To receive cash from guests and operate Squirrel correctly.
- To deal with signed bills and Restaurant transfers.
- To serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to resident and non-resident guests.
- To have an understanding of the Licensing Laws, including rights of refusal.
- To keep constant control on costs and revenue in the Department.
- To maintain a wide knowledge of mixed drinks.
- To act as a Sales Person, promoting the image and services of the Hotel at all times.
Key Attributes
- Sound knowledge of cocktail work and UK Licensing regulations; a personal license would be an advantage, but not essential.
- Previous experience in a hotel bar with high service standards would be preferred.
- Excellent command of the English language and right to work in the UK.
- Be extremely well presented.
- Attention to detail and the drive to deliver exceptional customer care at every interaction.
