A company in the retail sector is looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to support them during a busy year-end period. This role will report into two senior members of the finance team and be responsible for:
- Journal posting; month end journals, prepayment journals, accrual journals, depreciation expense journals, payroll journals
- Ledger maintenance
- Intercompany invoices/reconciliations
- Cash book and petty cash management and reconciliations
- Expenses management
- Assist purchase ledger
- Account reconciliations
Qualifications
- Immediate availability
- Ability to commute to Wembley 5 days a week (Monday-Friday)
- Strong Excel skills (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP)
- Experience with multiple accounting systems (JDE desirable but not essential)
- Strong journal posting and account reconciliation experience
