This is a broad, hands-on HR generalist role reporting to the HR Director, with a strong focus on employee relations, manager support and HR operations.

The business has over 200 employees across multiple UK sites, including both operational and office-based teams. You will take ownership of day-to-day HR, managing employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance matters.
You will work closely with managers, providing practical advice and coaching while ensuring best practice and compliance with UK employment legislation. Alongside ER, you will oversee the employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding through to leavers, maintain accurate HR records and support benefits and payroll processes.
You will also play a key role in the implementation of a new HR system and the move to an outsourced payroll provider. The role includes management of an HR Administrator, as well as close collaboration with the HR Director and Learning & Development team on performance management, manager development and wider people initiatives. We are looking for an experienced HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor with strong UK generalist experience, excellent employee relations knowledge and up-to-date UK employment law expertise.
You will be pragmatic, personable and confident, with the ability to build strong relationships and provide clear, commercially focused advice.
