A highly successful company is looking for an accomplished Assistant Management Accountant to join its team. Please note this role is hybrid youll work from home 2 days per week with 3 days in the office. Working as part of the finance team, youll play an important role in providing accurate, timely and meaningful financial information to support business decision-making. Youll assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations, while supporting month-end and year-end close processes. Youll also be involved in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow projections and variance analysis, helping to identify trends and investigate differences between actual and budgeted performance. This will involve working with colleagues across the organisation and explaining financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders. Alongside the management accounting responsibilities, youll have a broad range of transactional finance duties. These will include processing purchase invoices and supplier payments, reviewing the purchase ledger, preparing monthly creditor analysis, reconciling company credit cards and processing foreign supplier payments. Youll also liaise with suppliers to resolve queries, support VAT returns and maintain accurate financial records. In order to be suitable for this role you must be a personable finance professional with great analytical skills. It is expected that you will be pursuing CIMA or ACCA qualifications and study support will be provided. Youll be comfortable working independently while also being a collaborative team player, with the confidence to build effective relationships across the wider organisation.
