The UK's leading ‘innovation as a service' organisation servicing public bodies, businesses, and infrastructure providers is seeking a Bid Manager to join their Bids team. Please note, this is a 6 month contract (with possibility of extension) and is paying up to £333 per day maximum and is inside IR35. The role can be fully remote with occasional visits to the London office or can be hybrid. The company operates a 9 day fortnight also. The organisation is preparing a strategically important corporate submission to the Government Commercial Agency's RM6399 Consultancy and Professional Services framework. The agreement is intended to provide central government and the wider public sector with a compliant route to procure consultancy and professional services. The temporary Bid Manager will take day-to-day ownership of the submission from mobilisation through final upload, coordinating contributors across the organisation and maintaining a clear, controlled process. To be considered for this contract you must have: A strong track record of personally managing complex, high-value UK public-sector framework or tender submissions from mobilisation through portal submission. Demonstrable experience of consultancy or professional-services frameworks, ideally Crown Commercial Service or Government Commercial Agency procurements. Detailed working knowledge of compliance matrices, bid schedules, governance gates, review processes, evidence management and eSourcing portals. Experience coordinating conditions of participation and corporate compliance inputs across Finance, Commercial, Legal, Procurement, Risk and operational teams. Experience identifying, validating and presenting contract evidence, case studies, CVs and customer-certified technical references against strict criteria. Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to turn fragmented technical contributions into concise, persuasive and evidence-based responses. Strong stakeholder management and the confidence to challenge senior contributors, resolve ambiguity, enforce deadlines and escalate material risks. High attention to detail, disciplined version control and the ability to remain effective under a fixed and potentially compressed timetable. Availability to commit sufficient concentrated time throughout the assignment, including the final review and submission period.
