A fast growing financial services company based in Romford, Essex is looking for an experienced HR Manager to join their team.
Reporting into the Head of HR role, the HR Manager will be responsible for managing a team of HR professionals to deliver operational HR across a multi site business.

Key responsibilities
- Managing and overseeing an HR team (Business Partners and Administrators) that are supporting multiple sites
- Supporting with development of HR strategies and objectives
- Implement HR policies and procedures
- Provide guidance and support to the HR team and managers
- Occasional travel to other UK sites and ensure sites are working collaboratively
- Handling complex ER cases
- Manage team performance
- Playing a key role in advising senior stakeholders
- Ensure the team are up to date on employment law and legislation
- Develop employee engagement initiatives
- HR reporting
To be considered suitable for this HR Manager role you will need the following skills and experience:
- HR managerial experience - leading small to medium size teams
- Ability to commute to the Essex office 3 days a week with very occasional travel to other sites
- Ideally experience in either financial services, professional services or insurance
- Strong UK employment law knowledge
- Background of managing complex ER cases
- CIPD qualified
- Innovative approach to HR
- Prior experience as an HR Manager, People Manager, Head of People, Head of HR etc.
