As they expand their digital transformation journey, we’re now helping them find a talented Power Platform Developer to join their dynamic DevOps team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys both problem-solving and building meaningful digital tools that change the way information flows through an organisation.
This role can be remote, so you can be based anywhere in the UK – and part-time hours may be considered for the right person. You’ll play a key part in designing, building, and rollout of new applications using the Microsoft Power Platform suite – including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Azure Logic Apps. Working closely with the Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for innovation and continuous improvement across all business and academic functions.
This is a hands-on development role, where you'll also contribute to a Centre of Excellence framework and help establish best practices in automation, system architecture, and user experience.
Further responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with teams to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable Power Platform solutions.
- Build, test, and maintain Power Apps and Power Automate flows, ensuring security and accessibility best practices.
- Integrate applications with third-party systems and data sources.
- Contribute to documentation, digital strategy, and knowledge sharing across teams.
- Mentor junior developers and engage in collaborative, agile development practices.
Skills needed:
- Proven experience in a similar role using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Azure Logic Apps.
- Confident building Power Apps canvas apps, and a strong grasp of Power Platform formulas and logic.
- Ability to document and convert complex business processes into functional, automated workflows.
- Microsoft certifications or willingness to gain them.
- Experience in Agile environments and cross-functional collaboration.
Desirable (but not essential):
- Familiarity with SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Azure, API integrations, and scripting languages like PowerShell or JavaScript.
