A government body is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Administrator to assist the Purchase Ledger Team in their day to day administration & data entry processing to enable them to deliver an effective efficient service.

Based in Sittingbourne – office-based at first, and then moving to hybrid after an initial period. This is an interim role for initially 9 weeks from approximately 25th August and paying £18.30 per hour, less deductions for insurance, taxes and umbrella company charges (PAYE £14.40 per hour). The closing date is Thursday 14 th August.

Reporting to the Purchase Ledger Supervisor, the successful incumbent will be tasked with processing invoices received from suppliers & helping with the day to day administration for Purchase Ledger.

To be suitable for this role you must have proven purchase ledger experience, managing high volume workloads, and ideally in a public sector organisation. Excellent attention to detail, ability to organise & prioritise workloads and first-class communication skills are essential. Located close to Sittingbourne and being available immediately is also required.
