This is a newly created position for a Lead Software Developer with a Northampton based firm paying £75,000 - £85,000 in a hybrid work environment. This is both a hands-on technical and leadership role, responsible not only for building high-quality, scalable systems but also for implementing and maintaining modern development, coding, and deployment practices across the team.
This Lead Developer role will be ideal for someone looking to move into a Head of Development/Development Manager role and start taking on team management, strategy & road-mapping responsibilities.
To be considered for this position you will need solid hands-on development skills with:
- React &/or Node.JS
- JavaScript & HTML
- Python
- AWS, S3 & Lambda
- Redshift or equivalent SQL
As a Lead Full Stack/Lead Software Engineer you will be responsible for leading the design, development and deployment of full stack web applications and business tools. In addition to developing and maintaining scalable cloud-based solutions, you will be responsible for development standards, implementing coding practices, version control & code reviews, implementing deployment practices, change management, and mentoring/managing junior developers.
Based on the outskirts of Northampton my client is paying £75,000 - £85,000 + up to 15% bonus. This is a 50/50 split hybrid role, and as my client is on the outskirts of Northampton you will need your own transport to reach their office.
