We are currently recruiting on behalf of a growing and dynamic technology business for an experienced Compliance and Operations Manager to support the Head of Operations and to play a pivotal role in keeping the business running smoothly. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Operations and stakeholders across the business, driving efficiency, improving processes, and ensuring operational excellence at every level. As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring systems, processes, and people are aligned to support business growth. You'll need exceptional attention to detail, the ability to juggle competing priorities, and a calm, solutions-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities- Support ISO standards (9001 / 14001 / 27001), ensuring compliance and preparation for ongoing certification
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve business processes
- Ensure the project management system reflects business needs and is updated as required
- Attend departmental meetings to ensure compliance and resolve operational issues
- Produce, update, and review reports, highlighting risks and potential issues
- Liaise with external stakeholders (including clients, legal advisors, and government bodies) and coordinate actions internally
- Support sales operations and manage supplier and client documentation, including negotiating terms where appropriate
- Monitor shared inboxes and delegate actions to relevant stakeholders
- Manage client feedback and oversee appropriate follow-up actions
- Administer and optimise use of AdobeSign
- Proofread documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Oversee all office management activities, including supplies, recycling, and cleaning
- Arrange client and colleague gifts when required
- Support travel and accommodation bookings as needed
- Proven experience in an operations-focused role, ideally within a fast-paced SME
- Previous experience of ISO audits
- Ability to read and disseminate contracts
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident working with Office 365 and CRM systems
- Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities
