An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially astute Procurement Manager / Buyer to join a dynamic, award‐winning international consultancy. The role‐holder will lead and manage the procurement of goods and services across their multi‐market research agency. The role will focus on securing high‐quality, cost‐effective suppliers for research operations, such as fieldwork partners, technology platforms, data providers, recruitment agencies, and specialist consultants, while ensuring compliance, value for money, and strong supplier performance.
Please note this is a permanent, fully remote role. The role is paying £45,000‐£50,000 plus good benefits including a generous bonus.
Essential Skills & Experience- Proven experience in procurement or buying, ideally within a research agency or a related field (market research, insights, data services, consultancy, media, or professional services).
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Understanding of contract management, SLAs, and procurement processes.
- Excellent commercial awareness and the ability to balance quality with cost.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple procurement streams simultaneously.
- Comfortable working with budgets, financial analysis, and cost tracking.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of research services, such as fieldwork, panel sampling, data collection, data processing, and research technology.
- Experience with procurement systems or ERP tools.
- Understanding of GDPR and data‐processing requirements.
- CIPS qualification or working towards it.
