A highly successful, global business with offices in Surbiton, Surrey are looking for a Junior Business Analyst to their in-house Digital Transformation team. You will play an integral part working across large, global projects supporting automation within the business and dealing with all things technology. This role would suit an analytical, personable technology enthusiast with circa 12 months experience in a previous Business Analyst role. This is a brilliant opportunity within an innovative company that is always looking for ways to keep up with ever changing technology.
As the Junior Business Analyst, you will build knowledge of the business, its products, processes and standard operating procedures; assisting with the project startup and initiation phases to help identify and document project objectives and benefits. You will elicit, validate and document business requirements for various IT products; designing and recommending improvements to new and existing processes and systems.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Producing 'as-is' and 'to-be' process maps
- Creating wireframes and mock-ups to support the business requirements
- Liaising with business SMEs and 3rd party suppliers throughout the project lifecycle to ensure solutions meet project objectives and deliver the best user experience
- Raising potential project risks, issues and blockers
- Collaborating with the wider project team members and providing support when required (including solution designing, testing, training, support etc.)
- Assist with triaging and validating bugs
- Contribute to knowledge sharing sessions and project retrospectives, both in products and BA techniques
To be suitable for this Junior BA role you will have previous experience of working within IT project team or similar. You will have knowledge of requirements eliciting techniques and project delivery methodologies (agile and waterfall) and excellent communication skills. The salary on offer for this role is up to £40,000 plus benefits. Hybrid working is offered.
