A leading financial services company is looking for a Team Lead for its Incident Management and Command Centre function.

This is a great opportunity where progression into senior management is available in the coming years.

The role will take ownership of the UK Command Centre, developing leadership capability while managing business-critical incidents and helping shape the future of IT Operations.

Duties will include

  • Leading the UK Command Centre and supporting the development of a high-performing team.
  • Managing Major Incidents from initiation through to service restoration.
  • Chairing technical and management bridge calls during critical incidents.
  • Coordinating multiple technology teams to restore business-critical services.
  • Providing clear updates to technical teams, senior management and executive stakeholders.
  • Driving continual service improvement through post-incident reviews and trend analysis.
  • Supporting operational projects and helping improve Incident Management processes.
  • Developing reporting, KPIs and operational performance metrics.
  • To be considered suitable you will need the following skills/experience:
  • Technical background as either, Incident Manager, Major Incident Manager, Command Centre Team Lead, NOC Team Lead, IT Operations Lead, Senior Systems Administrator
  • Experience managing or coordinating Major Incidents within a large enterprise environment.
  • A good understanding of how a Command Centre or IT Operations Centre functions.
  • Confidence communicating with both technical teams and senior business stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A passion for continuous improvement and developing operational excellence.
