A well established, international financial service business (SME) are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Generalist / Senior HR Advisor to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Based in the City of London, this is a hybrid role offering the opportunity to work across a broad range of HR activities within a dynamic and professional environment. This role would suit a seasoned HR Advisor or HR Generalist who is confident operating across the full employee lifecycle and enjoys partnering closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality HR support. As a trusted HR partner, you will play a key role in supporting managers and employees across the business. You’ll be involved in both operational and advisory HR work, with a strong focus on employee relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing expert advice and guidance to line managers on all HR matters
- Managing a range of employee relations cases (disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance)
- Supporting recruitment and onboarding processes
- Assisting with reward, compensation & benefits activities
- Driving and supporting performance management processes
- Contributing to HR projects, policies, and process improvements
- Ensuring HR practices remain compliant with current employment legislation
About You
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role (HR Advisor / Senior HR Advisor level)
- Strong employee relations experience with confidence managing cases end-to-end
- Ability to support across multiple HR disciplines including recruitment, reward, and performance
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build relationships
- Ideally experience within financial services or a professional services environment
- CIPD qualified or working towards (desirable)
