We are seeking an experienced and hands-on HR Business Partner on 9 month FTC basis, for a fast-scaling US owned Software company. Reporting to the Head of People Operations you will work closely with the Global Operations team and in collaboration with fellow HRBPs, to deliver first-class HR operations across the employee lifecycle. This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week based at their Central London offices.
As a HR Business Partner, you’ll be a trusted advisor across key HR operational areas, including employee relations, payroll, benefits, and compliance. You’ll work closely with other Business Partners, Finance and external partners to deliver an exceptional employee experience throughout the lifecycle.
Main responsibilities of the role
Be the first point of contact for UK based employee questions and act as a trusted partner to managers and employees, ensuring HR policies and procedures are compliant with UK employment law and statutory guidance. Providing expert guidance across Talent Acquisition, onboarding/offboarding, ER cases, benefits administration; liaising closely with benefits company and updating employee platform, payroll: timely and accurate processing of all monthly payroll changes (starters, leavers, benefits changes, etc.) and global mobility processes including secondments and transfers.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner within a SaaS or Fintech company.
- CIPD qualified
- Operational knowledge across recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, benefits, payroll, and global mobility.
- Strong understanding of UK employment law and familiarity with international HR practices (especially US).
- Confident in a scale-up or high-growth business with shifting priorities and evolving processes.
- Proactive, hands-onand adaptable with a people-first approach.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills
This is a 9-month FTC role so candidates must be available on an immediate basis or with a maximum of one week’s notice. The position is offered with a salary of up to £60,000 p.a. pro rata
