A successful and well-established business based in Hatfield is looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable organisation where you'll work closely with colleagues across the business in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Working closely with sales and operations teams to minimise outstanding debt.
- Maintaining, updating, and reconciling the sales ledger.
- Ensuring credit control policies and processes are followed.
- Taking payments and coordinating new credit account applications.
- Producing and maintaining accurate debtor reports.
- Investigating and resolving customer queries in a timely manner.
- Proven experience in credit control and bookkeeping.
- Experience using accounting systems (ERP/CRM) and Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience producing debtor and aged debt reports.
- Strong organisational, numeracy, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Confident communication skills with a professional and friendly approach.
Please note, due to the company's location on the outskirts of Hatfield, you will need to be a car driver. The site is easily commutable from St Albans, Potters Bar, and Welwyn Garden City.
Working hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm.
