A highly successful, global business based in Farnborough is seeking a proactive, dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join their growing team. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will manage the end-to-end transaction processing function and team. This is an exciting time to join the business as they embark on ambitious growth plans, meaning you would play an integral part in executing this plan.

As the Finance Manager, you will possess a strong background in financial accounting and management, with the ability to provide insightful analysis and support for our financial operations. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organisation. The core responsibilities of this Finance Manager role are:

  • Manage the end-to-end transaction processing function and team
  • Lead initiatives for process improvements within the finance department
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards
  • Support the year-end statutory audit
  • Supervise a team of finance professionals
  • Oversee core finance processes, such as accounts payable, bank reconciliation, and support the month-end close and production of management accounts
  • Review and approve monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany

The ideal candidate will be:

  • ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • Previous team management experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency with accounts payable processes and systems
  • Pro-active with good organisation skills and the ability to prioritise

The salary on offer for this role is up to £65,000 plus benefits.
