As the Deputy Nursery Manager, you will cover for the Nursery Manager in their absence, ensuring consistent, high-quality care and education across all age groups and the smooth running of the nursery. You will be responsible for assisting in managing the nursery team, ensuring the correct staff-to-child ratios are met at all times, and overseeing the weekly staff rota.
The role will see you supporting the delivery of a creative and engaging early years curriculum that meets the needs of each individual child. Promoting positive relationships with parents and carers, ensuring effective communication and involvement in their child’s progress. You will assist with staff recruitment, onboarding, and training to ensure a strong, dedicated team, ensuring the nursery meets health, safety, and safeguarding standards, including conducting risk assessments and adhering to policies.
