The Ashdown Group has been commissioned by an iconic luxury hospitality brand to assist in its search for an accomplished Finance Director. In order to be considered for the role you must be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with proven experience in the hospitality sector, ideally at a luxury hotel. You will have demonstrable expertise with statutory accounts, FP&A, audit and treasury and will be a meticulous professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for building financial processes that improve performance and profitability.
Reporting directly to the MD you will have full responsibility for developing and implementing the financial strategy of the firm to deliver optimal business performance. You will be a person of the utmost integrity and will provide inspirational leadership to a department of 15. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will deliver on the strategic vision of the firm and be recognised for your competence, intellectual capability, powers of analysis and sound commercial judgment.
You will be responsible for producing monthly management information, annual budgets and year end audited accounts and will work with departmental managers to plan and manage their budgets and drive sustainable growth through effective financial leadership. This is a senior leadership role, combining hands-on financial management with strategic input and close collaboration with the MD and wider executive leadership team.
You will contribute fully to the development of long-term business objectives, challenge assumptions, and provide financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers.
