We are on the lookout for a driven Bid Manager to join our client's dynamic organisation. With offices in London Farringdon and Milton Keynes, this pivotal role puts you at the forefront of driving innovation and enabling sustainable change within our cities and transportation systems.

Your Role:

  • Lead from the front: Based in either Central London or Milton Keynes 2 days a week, you will take ownership of managing and delivering all commercial and collaborative bids and proposals, playing a key leadership role.
  • Collaborative spirit: Bringing your cross-functional expertise to the table, you will contribute to the development and coordination of bids and proposals that align with client needs and create impactful solutions.
  • Forge strong partnerships with partner organisations and stakeholders, driving bid development best practices to new heights.
  • You will be responsible for taking charge of the entire bid process, ensuring seamless management, consistency in bid content, and handling multiple bids under tight deadlines.
  • You will be keen to elevate the quality of bids by reviewing and refining content, leading both internal and external resources toward creating commercially viable, high-quality proposals.

Your Skills:

  • You should be able to demonstrate your track record of leading, delivering, and succeeding with significant bids and proposals for commercial clients and funding bodies such as Innovate UK and Horizon 2020.
  • Proven experience working in cross-functional collaborations and with external partnerships, showcasing strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • The ability to coach, manage, and develop individuals and teams, driving growth across the board.

Work-Life Balance:

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with the freedom to work from home three days a week. The company also operates a 9 day fortnight.
