A leading healthcare technology company with a strong presence across the healthcare and public sector market is seeking an Account Manager to drive customer growth and long-term partnerships. This role would suit an experienced Account Manager, Customer Success Manager, Strategic Account Manager or Business Development professional with experience managing and growing complex B2B, SaaS, technology, healthcare or public sector accounts.
Experience working with NHS organisations, healthcare technology solutions or complex public sector contracts would be advantageous, although candidates with strong SaaS account management experience are also encouraged to apply.
As the Account Manager, you will own a portfolio of customer accounts and be accountable for both retention and revenue growth across those customers. This is not a traditional account support role. You will be responsible for identifying commercial opportunities within existing accounts, developing strategic account plans and helping customers maximise the value of the organisation's technology solutions. Success in this role will be measured not only by customer retention, but by your ability to identify, develop and convert account expansion opportunities.
You will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders, developing trusted relationships whilst uncovering opportunities to introduce additional products, services and solutions. You will lead regular business reviews, manage contract renewals and proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. You will be comfortable having commercial conversations with senior stakeholders and confident building opportunities through to agreement and implementation.
You will manage complex customer accounts, developing growth strategies focused on increasing product adoption, expanding usage and delivering long-term value. Working closely with sales, marketing and leadership teams, you will contribute to account strategy, support product rollouts and ensure customers achieve meaningful outcomes from the technology platform.
You will be commercially minded and confident managing multiple stakeholders across complex organisations. You will understand how to balance relationship management with business growth, using insight, data and customer engagement to create opportunities and deliver measurable results. You will maintain accurate account plans, renewal schedules and pipeline activity through HubSpot or a similar CRM platform and take ownership of progressing opportunities throughout the customer lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of growing revenue within existing accounts and will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced technology environment. Experience within SaaS, healthcare technology or public sector services would be beneficial. You will be a strong communicator, highly organised and capable of building credibility with everyone from operational users through to senior decision-makers, procurement leads and executive stakeholders.
The salary on offer is up to £47,000 per annum plus benefits. Please note, this role offers hybrid working, with two days per week based in our client's Birmingham office. Applicants should therefore be comfortable commuting to Birmingham on a regular basis.
