A multinational business based in East London is looking for an accomplished AWS Cloud Engineer to join its sizeable IT team. Please note that the firm embraces flexible and hybrid working, allowing you to work from home 2 days per week.

The purpose of the role is to ensure high systems availability across a multi-cloud environment (AWS & Azure), enabling the business to meet its technology-driven objectives. The role will be mostly AWS / Linux focused, but an ability to understand comparative solutions in Azure would be useful. You will deliver secure and robust technology solutions across on-prem and cloud platforms and will use Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure. You will participate in detailed architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment and will contribute to the continuous improvement of performance, security, and cost optimisation.

In order to be suitable for this role of significant responsibility, you must have proven experience with AWS and Linux systems. You will be able to design, implement, and optimize AWS solutions and build Linux servers from scratch. Experience with Azure would be advantageous as the firm utilizes both AWS and Azure but is not essential. AWS Certified Solutions Architect and Red Hat Certified Engineer accreditation is preferred.

This is an excellent opportunity for an AWS Cloud Engineer to join a market-leading business that offers an excellent range of benefits and a clearly defined career path.
