2nd Line IT Support Engineer
Location: Remote, occasional travel to central London offices (approximately once a week but rarely required)
Rate: Up to £210 per day, inside IR35
We’re recruiting for a brilliant UK charity who are looking for an experienced 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join the team on a contract basis. Initially for 3 months, the contract could be extended and/or made permanent thereafter.
Whilst overseeing and with the support of their 1 st Line Support Technician and reporting into the IT Lead, the role will provide day-to-day 2nd line support across a Microsoft-based environment, including:
- Windows 10/11 support and troubleshooting
- Active Directory administration
- Microsoft Teams, Outlook and Office 365 support
- Laptop, desktop and peripheral support
- VPN and basic networking troubleshooting
- User account, access and permissions support
- Incident and request management via an ITSM system
We're looking for a proactive and energetic 2nd line IT support engineer with great communication skills, strong troubleshooting skills and good knowledge of Microsoft technologies.
