An international bank based in the City of London is looking for an Admin Assistant to join its team on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract.
This role would suit someone with previous experience in administration, ideally within a professional or corporate environment. The successful candidate will be organised, detail-oriented and confident communicating with colleagues, suppliers and external contacts. Ideally, you will be immediately available or have a short notice period.
This is a varied, hands-on opportunity offering exposure to a broad range of administrative responsibilities within a stable and structured international organisation. It would suit someone who enjoys a diverse workload, takes a proactive approach and is happy to provide support wherever needed across the business.
As the Admin Assistant, you will provide day-to-day administrative support across the business. Responsibilities will include liaising with suppliers, maintaining records and documentation, supporting invoices and expenses, managing shared mailboxes, assisting with internal communications and events, maintaining internal systems and providing general support to management and staff.
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in an administrative or similar support role
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Confident written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills and a professional approach
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- A proactive, flexible and team-oriented approach
- A willingness to take on a broad range of responsibilities and support colleagues as required
The salary on offer is £35,000 – £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience. This is an initial 12-month fixed-term opportunity and would ideally suit someone who is immediately available or able to start at short notice.
