This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Linux Redhat Administrator to take a newly created position with a leading IT consultancy in Surrey. This position pays £55,000 and is based in the Dorking area offering hybrid working options. To be considered for this position you will have previous experience with Redhat (RHEL) and managing large enterprise Linux estates. As part of the BAU team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continued stability, performance, and security of external clients’ IT systems. My client is a long-established, leading IT consultancy with three sites across the UK. You will be split between working from home, working in the Dorking office, and making occasional customer site visits. The ideal candidate will be friendly and outgoing with a confident personality, and someone who enjoys dealing with customers and users. As an experienced IT Support Analyst you will have solid skills with Redhat (RHEL), RHEL Satellite, virtualisation (ideally RHEL virtualisation), patching, some scripting (Powershell, Bash, Python etc), and system security.
