Our client, a successful and growing Events and Merchandising company, are seeking an experienced international Group Accountant on an interim to permanent basis for a newly created role. Reporting to the CEO this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the Senior Leadership team.The position is office based at the companys West London site which has excellent transport links and on-site parking, there is some flexibility for remote working one day a week. The Group Accountant will be responsible for supporting the CEO to drive the commercial strategy and oversee their UK and German Finance teams, as well as working with a number of international partners. You will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and oversee intercompany transactions. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role, driving financial performance and ensuring compliance with international standards. You will oversee the preparation of project and year-end statutory accounts (turnover circa £50mil) in accordance with reporting guidelines. Be responsible for intercompany accounting and ensuring accurate consolidation of financial results across regions in compliance with UK, German, and international financial regulations and standards. The role will involve close collaboration with the Directors on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning and play a key part in commercial decision making. The successful candidate will be:
