A successful manufacturing company with a global reputation and major growth plans is looking for an ambitious professional with visual merchandising and sales training experience. The role will be largely covering the London & Home counties, with some travel further afield south of London. This is a temporary / contract role for initially 12 weeks.

This key operational role provides a vital link between the brand and retails stores, to ensure high standards of product merchandising across the South East region, including Kent and London. Duties will include:

  • Ensuring all beds, mattresses, and furniture are displayed in accordance with brand standards, including the effective use of point-of-sale materials

  • Delivering engaging training sessions to retail staff, improving their product knowledge and selling techniques

  • Monitoring sales performance and gathering market intelligence to inform strategic decisions

  • Building strong relationships with in-store teams to promote brand advocacy and increase sales

This would suit a proactive professional with a strong background in training, visual merchandising, or sales, ideally within the furniture sector. It is essential to be able to drive. You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to train diverse teams effectively, along with good organisational ability to manage your territory. A proactive approach, coupled with the confidence to build lasting relationships with retail partners, will be essential. Previous experience in product presentation and a good understanding of retail dynamics are highly desirable.
