Role: HGV – Tipper Driver
Salary: £13.50 per hour + £20.25 per hour overtime
Location: Leeds, LS10 1RT
We are expanding our team and are currently hiring drivers to join our 8-wheel tipper fleet. As an HGV Driver at Ashcourt, you will be contracted to work 40 hours per week. Overtime is paid at a rate of £20.25 per hour for any hours worked beyond the first 45.
Key responsibilities:- To operate HGV Cat C vehicles, following all HGV driver & traffic laws
- To operate the vehicle safely and professionally
- To drive long or short distances as required
- To help plan schedules & routes with your line manager
- To follow traffic reports and adapt routes as necessary
- To conduct accurate & thorough pre-use defect/cleanliness inspections of your vehicle
- To complete proof of deliveries on a tablet
- To ensure vehicle cab is kept in a clean & tidy condition
- A valid HGV Cat C license
- Tachograph card
- Up to date CPC
- A minimum of 1 years' experience as a HGV/Tipper driver
- Maximum of 6 points on your licence
- Valid right to work in the UK
