We are expanding our team and are currently hiring a HGV Driver to join our fleet. To be considered for this role, you must have proven experience driving Walking Floor vehicles.
As an HGV Driver at Ashcourt, you will be contracted to work 40 hours per week. Overtime is paid at a rate of time and a half, for any hours worked beyond the first 45.
Key responsibilities- To operate the vehicle safely and professionally
- To drive long or short distances as required
- To help plan schedules & routes with your line manager
- To follow traffic reports and adapt routes as necessary
- To conduct accurate & thorough pre-use defect/cleanliness inspections of your vehicle
- To complete proof of deliveries on a tablet
- To ensure vehicle cab is kept in a clean & tidy condition
- A valid Class 1 license
- Tachograph card
- CPC Qualification
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience as a HGV- Walking floor driver
- Maximum of 6 points on your licence
- Valid right to work in the UK
