Overview
We are expanding our team and are currently hiring drivers to join our Skip Wagon fleet. As an HGV Driver at Ashcourt, you will be contracted to work 40 hours per week. Overtime is paid at a rate of £20.25 per hour for any hours worked beyond the first 45 hours.
Key Responsibilities
- To operate HGV Cat C vehicles, following all HGV driver & traffic laws
- To operate the vehicle safely and professionally
- To drive long or short distances as required
- To help plan schedules & routes with your line manager
- To follow traffic reports and adapt routes as necessary
- To conduct accurate & thorough pre-use defect/cleanliness inspections of your vehicle
- To complete proof of deliveries on a tablet
- To ensure that the vehicle cab is kept in a clean & tidy condition

- An up-to-date CPC
- A minimum of 1 year's experience as an HGV/Skip Wagon driver
- A maximum of 6 points on your licence
