- £65,000 + BenefitsA large international multi-disciplined consultancy are looking for a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join their 60 strong MEP Design team based across three UK offices.This well renowned practice are expanding due to a number of high profile project wins within the life sciences sector and are looking for someone to join their team to lead projects and mentor more junior engineers.
This consultancy have a fantastic track record and healthy forward order plan of work within the life sciences and healthcare sector. This is a great role to join a company that has a first class reputation within their field with the potential for the right candidate to be promoted to Associate / Team Manager level within 12 months. Project work is mainly Stage 3 and 4 detailed mechanical design, reporting, and surveying of Mechanical Building services systems.
Within the role you will work alongside the electrical engineering team to deliver projects however the right candidate will usually be most senior engineer on projects and will hold key stakeholder relationships. Experience using Hevacomp is ideal with a knowledge of CAD and appreciation for REVIT, 95% of their work uses revit. Candidates should have the below experience:At least 8 years experience within Mechanical Building Services DesignExperience on projects in the life sciences sector or, within critical systems sector (ie Data Centres)Chartered Engineer educated to at least degree level. Experience working within client facing positions. Comfortable of working under minimal management. Whilst in these unprecedented times my client is able to "on-board" remotely. xsabvtc
