Ashbys Consulting are working with one of the UK’s largest housebuilders who are looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor.The company deliver a range of new homes across the country; from small, bespoke developments; to major, multi-phase schemes encompassing affordable homes up to 5 and 6-bedroom units. Projects are typically delivered using standard house types, with long-term subcontractor relationships already in place. This regional office in London focuses on building in North London and the Northern Home Counties and is typically working on 10-15 live developments at any time.Right now there is a need to appoint a proven Senior Quantity Surveyor who will lead a major multi-phase development in Hertfordshire, totalling 1000+ units. You will report to a Commercial Manager, and take responsibility for an Assistant, and a Commercial Administrator. You will need proven experience of working in a major housebuilding environment ideally having delivered similar major projects.You will be rewarded with a generous, negotiable salary and benefits package; and will be working in a progressive and innovative environment which prioritises employee wellbeing.
