Principal Electrical Engineer (Building Services)Leeds City Centre£50000 - £55000Our client has established themselves as a leading player in the UK building services market and aim to grow further in 2021 starting with their Leeds office.
Duties of the role: Preparation of project specifications, concept and detailed design for new build and refurbishments to projects in the Private, Public and Industrial sectors.
Review of sub-contractor designs Develop and present project design proposals to a client following the external brief and internal discussions so that client requirements are met, acting as either lead internal consultant or as member of a team.
Issue in conjunction with the client, contract documentation to tender, adjudicate and recommend appropriate contractor to meet project requirements.
When acting as lead Consultant undertake all aspects of project management as defined by the client in his letter of appointment.
Manage, guide and develop technical subordinates in order that they may fully participate in their various teams.
Maintain an up to date knowledge of new techniques and technologies by participating in conferences, attending Continual Professional Development sessions, reading technical in media etc.
You must have the following:8+ building services experience Degree qualified in electrical or building services engineering Experience of mentoring and leading project teams Experience of taking financial, technical and quality and environmental responsibility for projects Auto CAD 2D, Amtech, Relux and Microsoft Office suite of products Enthusiastic and ambitious Excellent communication skills, including report writing and presentation Ability to lead electrical elements of one large project or a portfolio of smaller projects If this position is of interest, please apply below or call Rhys on 07927795526.
