A large international engineering contractor is looking for a BIM Manager to lead the BIM Strategy and further implementation across the company. This contractor is already BIM level 2 accredited and they now need a BIM Manager to ensure the company continues to develop and move forward while ensuring that quality does not slip.
Within this role, you will take a lead role on large projects coordinating with design teams while acting as an adviser to the REVIT MEP teams internally and externally. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an award-winning engineering team working on famous projects, alongside famous architects.
This is a client-facing role where you will work alongside predominantly the commercial and project Directors but also work with other BIM technicians from other disciplines.
Candidates would ideally be accredited with a relevant HNC/HND (or equivalent), have gained strong practical experience of using BIM applications within an engineering or construction environment, and possess an excellent understanding of relevant software packages including Revit, Navisworks, Solibri, and Collaboration for Revit.
You will have a strong understanding of BIM Level 2 standards, LOD, FM requirements, and Asset Information whilst also having proven experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines. You are adept at planning and organising your own workload and that of others within the team, and crucially β have a passion for creative, sustainable and intuitive design.
Please note candidates MUST have experience within a MEP consultancy or contractor. Given the collaborative nature of this role, excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential.
