Are you excited about the opportunity to work with our committed and enthusiastic Key Stage 3 students within the Science curriculum? If so, then Ashby School is the place for you!

We are seeking to appoint a motivated and dedicated Scientist with a passion for their subject and the ability to inspire and motivate students at all Key Stages. The Sciences are popular subjects at Ashby School with large numbers of students choosing to study Applied Science or one or more from Biology, Chemistry or Physics at A-level. We are particularly interested in those applicants who are able to offer Chemistry or Physics.

The Science Faculty has suites of purpose-built and well-resourced laboratories both on the KS3/4 site and KS5 sites. We also have access to a state-of-the-art immersive learning hub enabling us to enhance understanding and promote creativity in learning.

Ashby School is part of the Life MAT and we benefit from collaborative working across all of the MAT schools with an extensive programme of CPD. We are a fantastic team of positive, friendly and highly supportive teachers and technicians who strive to create the very best possible learning experience for our students.

Ashby School is a thriving, successful and over-subscribed 11-19 Academy with over 1,600 students on roll including over 500 in Ashby Sixth form. Conveniently located close to the M42 and M1, within easy reach of several areas of outstanding natural beauty and with the national forest on the doorstep, the school is set in its own attractive grounds in the expanding market town of Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire.
