Role Summary

Are you a Project Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven automotive environment? This is a unique opportunity to work on highly bespoke vehicle programmes, supporting delivery through structured governance and robust project control.

Role & Responsibilities Of a Project Analyst

  • Support day-to-day programme management activities in line with defined development processes and governance
  • Maintain and update project timing plans, tracking progress, identifying risks and highlighting slippage
  • Prepare project status reports, dashboards and KPIs for internal and external review forums
  • Coordinate cross-functional actions, ensuring ownership, alignment and delivery to agreed deadlines
  • Analyse project data including cost, timing, resource and quality metrics, providing clear summaries and recommendations
  • Support budget tracking and highlight variances against approved spend profiles
  • Maintain risk and issue logs, ensuring mitigation plans are defined and monitored
  • Document specification changes and support impact assessments across cost, timing and technical feasibility
  • Prepare gateway review materials, ensuring evidence packs are accurate, complete and compliant
  • Support lessons learned and root cause analysis activities to improve future project delivery
  • Build effective working relationships across engineering, design, procurement, quality and manufacturing teams
  • Act as a central coordination point for programme data, ensuring version control and data integrity

Requirements Of The Project Analyst

  • The Project Analyst will have experience within project or programme management environments
  • Knowledge of programme management tools, methodologies and structured development processes
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to draw conclusions and present findings clearly
  • Experience managing timing plans across multiple projects
  • Advanced MS Excel capability and experience producing detailed project reports and presentations
  • Educated in Management, Engineering or Automotive Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, resilient and detail-focused approach to delivery
