Responsibilities
- Programme and optimise CNC machining using Fusion 360
- Programme and operate 3 & 5‑axis Haas milling machines
- Interpret engineering drawings, CAD data and GD&T
- Select tooling, cutting parameters and fixturing
- Support machine set‑up and first‑off production
- Test, validate and improve CNC programmes
- Carry out first‑part inspections
- Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues
- Work closely with engineers and machinists to improve manufacturing processes
- Maintain programme revisions, tooling lists and set‑up documentation
- Support RFQs and machining cost estimates
- Ensure quality, production and health & safety standards are met
Qualifications
- Experience with CNC programming (offline)
- Proficiency with Fusion 360 or similar CAD/CAM software
- Experience with 3 & 5‑axis CNC milling machining
- Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T
- Strong problem‑solving and continuous improvement mindset
- Experience within precision engineering or advanced manufacturing
