Key Responsibilities Of The Technical Buyer

  • Lead sourcing activities, commercial risk management, and supplier negotiations for global production commodities
  • Drive cost optimisation initiatives while maintaining supply continuity
  • Develop and implement robust commodity and supplier strategies aligned to business objectives
  • Manage supplier relationships to maximise performance across cost, quality, and delivery
  • Support vehicle development through effective procurement planning and execution
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver procurement input into programme and project milestones
  • Process and manage purchase orders to support production and launch requirements
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and supply chain activities
